From Booking to DeliverY
Thank you for choosing Beyond Portraits as your photo and video team. We’re honored to be part of your special day and excited to begin bringing your vision to life.
Welcome to our Client Experience page, where every detail is thoughtfully outlined—from securing your date to the final delivery of your images and products.
Contract
To secure your date, we require a signed contract first. Once both parties have signed, we’ll send over your invoice to complete your booking.
Deposit
To secure your booking, there are two deposits: one due at signing and another before your portrait session. You’ll find all the details in your contract and invoice. Please let me know in advance if you would like payments set up, so i can get that set up in the system
Booking
After your initial deposit is made, we’ll create your booking session and accept it on your behalf so your event is officially locked into our calendar.
Optional (save the date session)
Save-the-date sessions are a fun and creative way for your Quinceañera or Sweet 16 to express her personality and style. This experience can take place before booking—what I like to call a “Get to Know Your Photographer” session—or it can be scheduled later once all details have been finalized.
In all cases, this session is completely complimentary for all Quinceañeras and Sweet 16 celebrations.
Pre-Portrait Session
The fun begins! Now we can start planning your portrait session—choosing the perfect date and location. I always recommend scheduling as soon as possible, and depending on the season, we’ll select a time that ensures a comfortable and enjoyable experience for your quinceañera. Many families prefer to wait until the dress is ready before finalizing their portrait date, and that’s perfectly okay!
Print or Frame
Once your gallery is ready, you’ll get to choose your 20x30 portrait—one of the most exciting parts!
Depending on your package, you’ll receive either a print shipped straight to your door or a framed portrait delivered in person or on the day of your event.
Event
Crunch time! Your big day is almost here. About a week before your event, I’ll reach out so we can go over all the details. You’ll send me your itinerary, and if you’d like, we can set up a quick call to make sure everything is perfect.
Sneak Peek
Wow, we made it through! After your event, I’ll send sneak peeks within 24–48 hours so you can relive the excitement right away.
If you selected the content creator package, you’ll also receive all raw footage and deliverables included in your package.
Full Digital Delivery
Please allow 1–3 months for full delivery of your gallery and final products. I don’t upload everything at once—images are added as they’re completed, so you’ll start seeing your gallery come to life along the way. Be sure to check back weekly for new uploads!
Deliverables
You’ve waited months for this—everything is finally ready for you to enjoy and cherish for years to come!
Depending on your package, you’ll receive a custom USB delivered straight to your door, while larger products may be delivered in person. Final delivery details will be discussed when the time comes.
Quinceañera Questions & Answers
Do you travel for photoshoots?
Yes, I do travel! Any event within Bexar County is included at no additional charge. For locations outside of the county, a travel fee will apply. Each travel estimate is customized to your quote based on distance and current market rates to ensure fair and accurate pricing..
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes! Our Lavender and Lilac packages include a 20x30 print, while our Orchid package features a 20x30 framed print along with a beautiful acrylic album.
Additional prints, frames, and albums can be added at any time to further customize your experience. Pricing for add-ons may vary depending on size, style, and current market rates.
Can We customize a package?
Our packages are thoughtfully designed based on common quinceañera timelines and client needs, while also keeping affordability in mind. Each package includes a 2-hour pre-portrait session, along with a standard 6-hour event coverage—typically covering the ceremony and key moments of the reception.
Typically, coverage wraps up about an hour before the event ends, once all the key moments and plenty of dance floor memories have been captured.
However, we know every celebration is unique! If you’d like additional time or something more tailored, we’re always happy to customize a package that fits your day.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! We can set up a customized payment plan that works best for you before your first payment is due. You’ll also receive friendly reminders along the way, so everything stays on track.
Payments are made easy through Pixieset, with options like Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and Affirm available for your convenience.
How long does it take to get our photos?
Completed photos are typically delivered within 1–3 months. While I take great care in editing each image, I’ll begin uploading finished photos to your digital gallery as they’re completed so you can start enjoying your memories right away.
Why does it take 1–3 months to complete my album?
Event albums require additional time due to the high volume of images captured throughout your special day. Each photo is carefully reviewed and professionally edited to ensure consistency across varying lighting conditions and environments.
For clients with video packages, production time is extended as video editing involves detailed sequencing, color correction, audio balancing, and thoughtful storytelling to deliver a polished final product.
Our goal is always to provide a beautifully curated album and film that truly reflects the quality and emotion of your event—never rushed, always intentional.
